Amazon Shopping: A Child's Plaything

Today I recieved an auto-confirmation on an order I never placed on Amazon. The item bought was - My Life by Bill Clinton It was the hard copy with one day shipping option. All I could think was huh? I never bought the book. Who had been messing with my account?

Then it came back. Aayan had been playing on the Sesame Street Website on my laptop and I had left a few windows open. Somehow or the other he managed to get to the Amazon page and ordered the book. The site is so customer friendly that even a three and a half year old can order.

And now I am stuck with a hardbound book worth nearly 30$ with the one day shipping charge.

Dang!

wonderful... i think time they have some password mechanism.. to protect us from such irritating situation. I am always scared about amazon!! Its scary stuff, dont know what all usage statistics they collect about me

Pat the boy on the back, he knows his taste in books! Give that boy an ice cream cone and send the bill to me. (not for the book, 30 bucks, sheesh, but for the ice cream cone).

Lol,and here I am trying to get rid of as many books as we can before the move and a real fat volume lands on my lap.

I had been avoiding Bill's book for a long time due to its size, maybe it was karma or destiny that it has to be read and later reviewed.

Returned the Amazon book - paid only for the shipping. Aayan can now click all the buttons on my laptop.
