Will You Take Your Kids Off The Stage?
"Parents will you please take your kids off the stage? There is a small podium for the little ones to play on near the Cafertia" Ahhhh...those words had me choking on my Musk Melon juice at a Company function where they had some kiddie function for the employees families.
Ah! the famous Indian behavior of letting kids run wild at malls, movie theaters, restaurants or at other peoples' homes. Little ones are like puppies, they need to be trained not turned into spoilt little runts thinking the world is for their taking.
This where it all starts from and lo behold the wild behavior takes root well into adulthood and they break basic rules of civilized behavior- jostling or breaking lines, screaming at people of lower economic status, breaking traffic rules like driving on the wrong side of the road or worse still bitching and cursing to all and sundry despite being in the wrong.
Yup, parents take your fucking kids off the podium and realize that you can't let your litter loose with no sense of propriety.

Some people feel that the minute they are in a public venue, they can just release their children into the wild, and enjoy the evening while staff of the venue babysit them.
I've seen it many times. People sit down in a restaurant, or at a wedding, or work function, and then proceed to forget they brought their children with them.
While bemused staff try to gently stop the children from wrecking the place.

Seriously though, We were in a very expensive Japanese Restaurant (not Miga,`LOL) a while back and there was a table with 4 children at it. The stood up on the chairs, screamed loudly, ran around, threw food on the floor...meanwhile, we paid good money to have to tolerate them. There was a visible sigh of relief when they finally left. Then I watched no less than 5 staff clean up the cyclone of debris they left behind. They had to put the chairs on the table to get to the crap that was thrown under there by the little spawns of satan.

Jeez, I think most upmarket restaurants should have rules where kids should not be allowed
While in the US we used to take our kids to those cheap but clean family restaurants where they could be themselves .
But expensive places were off limit since it would have been stressful for us and those around us.
