NSFW: Sex And Other Nasty Indian Stuff Online
Richard Gere’s famous wet smacks on Shilpa Shetty’s luscious cheeks may have offended a few repressed Indians including a small town judge but the damage has been far reaching. The world has judged us to be prudes who are no different from the mullahs of the East, quick to save the honor of our culture, our sensibilities, blah blah blah and yet all this is nothing more than a pathetic attention whoring charade, a fact any sane Indian would tell you.
The moral police do their best to grab media attention but the underground flesh trade continues smoothly. A few raids are done here and there, a few love cards are burnt nearing Valentine's Day but romance and sex continues to thrive in the country.
Indian magazines are showing more female flesh, more adult content is being written about and discussed but it’s the fear of violence from the moral police that silences the middle class and lets the hooligans get away with their easily offended sensibilities.
The best way of pushing back is by being more affectionate in public; no I’m not talking about groping and mauling that eve teasers seem to get away with but holding hands, giving a peck on the cheek or a hug. And at the same time having more adult content available for adult entertainment with useful tips about all the stuff we adults like to do.
Which is why the internet is a medium beyond the reach of the conservative sensibilities and comes as a breath of fresh air as far as expressing Indian sexuality goes. On debonairblog.com the base Indian desires have been aired quite frequently and salacious news are reported from across the country.
The most famous one is about the Andhra dance/'mujra' girls. Forget about your bar girls from Mumbai, these girls strip down to nothing and wriggle around in their birthday suits with the men ogling at them.
There is quite a lot of other stuff available too, like stories from the human digest, videos of couples having sex, bedroom tips etc. Desipapa is an age-old, in Internet terms, chronicle of desi smut, and good for them! All the smelly, fluid exchanging heaving, panting and nasty stuff laid out bare for public consumption which clearly mocks the conservative ‘save Indian culture’ SOBs.

Good post, however I don't agree adult entertainment will save the world or India. If the country can find more enlightened ways to get past incidents like this, they will be much better for it.
I don't consider the written word as belonging to the "adult entertainment" world.
And yes, people in America don't think of India that often they're fault. When they do it's call centers, doctors and now this.
1 of three is bad. It could be better.

Marijuana and Sex would never save the world but they'd provide the much needed breather;)
And yeah we could do better like come up with some Desi Hentai. Lol! who am I kidding!

I think adult entertainment should be made available in India. Either ways, people in India subscribing to international porn sites exist anyways. Might as well keep the money home :-D.

Sure, and while they are at hopefully someone would tell them to photo shop the babes. They are too real for the fantasy world;)

First, why were Indians offended - (a) public affection, or (b) an American kissing an Indian "Queen"?
If India wants to see a dysfuntional society when it comes to sex, look no further. The Bible Thumpers in the US want to dictate morality and decency. So we are left with closet pedophiles, rapists, conservative male senators sexually harrassing male interns, rampant spread of sexual diseases, etc. Nothing that access to porn and prostitutes (male and female) wouldn't eleviate.
I spent many jetlagged nights (or my days) awake watching Indian TV and I was surprised by the content. I thought India was more conservative than the countless of music videos suggested. It was pretty tame by American standards, but more than I expected. How many music videos with gyrating women can one stand?
With freedom comes many problems. In the US, we have many liberties and freedom to express ourselves through political views, music, spoken and written word, and other forms of expression. So recently, a young woman was denied travel on a South West flight because the crew thought she was dressed inappropriately; even though she had already completed one leg of her travels. Ultimately, her civil rights were violated and she was embarassed and humilated because someone tried to dictate what was decent. If you ask my Grandfather he would say any woman that wears pants is indecent. Now she will sue South West and they will settle out of court. Hopefully, she will reflect on the image she wants to project and change, or not change, accordingly.
There is no doubt in my mind that Indians will become more tolerant of public affection, as arranged marriages become passe and both sexes are working side by side all hours of the day and night, we will see attitudes toward sex change. Only human nature to want to sample and taste that which is forbidden and taboo. Try before you buy (i.e. lease with an option to buy) Or blog on "Swinging Pussy"
